Self-Serve Subscription Agreement
The baseline for online services when GICT accepts a self-serve order.
GICT Technologies Africa Ltd is based in Kampala, Uganda. This document should be read with the accepted order or signed agreement that applies to the service, where relevant.
Read this alongside the accepted order or signed project documents, which set the commercial details for your engagement.
When this agreement applies
This agreement applies only when a GICT checkout is enabled and GICT accepts an order that refers to it. The present catalog can be used for planning; a demo cart or unconfirmed order does not activate a service. The accepted order identifies the service, term, price and any applicable service-specific terms.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate account and billing details, keep administrative access secure, maintain lawful content and use each service within its technical limits. You are responsible for your users and for backups unless your accepted plan expressly includes a managed backup service.
Billing, renewal and changes
The accepted order controls the price, currency, taxes, payment schedule and renewal method. GICT will present renewal and cancellation information before a live purchase. Additional charges or a changed plan require the process stated in the accepted order. No live payment is taken by the demo storefront.
Service operation and ending a subscription
GICT may restrict access where necessary to address abuse, security risk or a legal requirement, and will give notice where reasonably possible. At the end of a service term, export or transfer options depend on the product and provider. Ask for a copy of the applicable order and handover details before termination.
