How GICT handles information sent with a job or contractor application.
GICT Technologies Africa Ltd is based in Kampala, Uganda. This document should be read with the accepted order or signed agreement that applies to the service, where relevant.
Use this policy for the website or audience named above. If you are also buying a service, check the accepted service documents.
Information and purpose
If you apply for a role or project opportunity, GICT may receive your contact details, CV, work history, portfolio, references and correspondence. We use this information to assess suitability, communicate about the opportunity and keep necessary recruitment records.
Access and retention
Access is limited to people involved in the hiring decision and approved recruitment support. We keep applicant information for a period appropriate to the recruitment process and applicable obligations; ask info@gictafrica.com about a particular application or retention decision.
Your choices
Please send only information relevant to the application. You may request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and records needed to document a decision. GICT will not treat an application as consent to unrelated marketing.
