Domain Registration Agreement
What to expect when registering, renewing or transferring a domain through GICT.
GICT Technologies Africa Ltd is based in Kampala, Uganda. This document should be read with the accepted order or signed agreement that applies to the service, where relevant.
Match these terms to the product named in your accepted order and review any applicable upstream provider rules.
Registration is conditional
A domain search or cart entry is not a reservation. Registration depends on current availability, eligibility, payment acceptance and the applicable registrar and registry rules. GICT will identify the registrar or provider used for a live registration.
Registrant information
The registrant must supply accurate contact and eligibility information and keep it current. Registries and registrars may require verification, publish limited registration data or apply privacy services according to extension-specific rules.
Renewal and transfer
The accepted order states the initial term, renewal price and reminders or renewal method. The registrant remains responsible for timely renewal and for confirming transfer requirements. Expiry, redemption and transfer restrictions can vary by extension and provider.
Disputes and provider rules
Applicable registry and registrar agreements, including dispute policies for the extension, may govern suspension or transfer of a name. A domain registration does not grant ownership of a trademark or other third-party right.
