Essential sign-in cookies
When account sign-in is available, GICT uses session and refresh cookies to keep an authenticated session. These are set with browser security attributes and are needed for private account functions. Account recovery can use a temporary cookie during the recovery flow.
Browser storage
The site keeps cart selections in local storage so you can return to a draft selection. First-party analytics uses a random visitor identifier in local storage and a tab session identifier in session storage. The analytics preference is also saved locally. These identifiers are not advertising cookies.
Your choice
Analytics respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and offers an opt-out in the Privacy Policy. Clearing browser storage removes local selections and can reset the analytics preference. Disabling essential cookies may prevent account functions from working.
