DNS management
A clear route to your services.
DNS records connect your domain name with websites, email and other services. Keep a clear record of each value before making changes.
Website records
A and AAAA records map names to IP addresses. CNAME records point a name at another hostname when the provider supports that configuration.
Email records
MX records direct mail to a provider. TXT records often carry SPF, DKIM and verification information supplied during setup.
Change carefully
DNS responses may be cached. Confirm the correct values and allow a propagation window before assuming a change failed. This demo does not edit live DNS zones.
Before your next step
A few useful answers.
Why might a changed record still show its old value?+
Resolvers cache records according to their time-to-live. Also check that the edit was made at the authoritative DNS provider for the domain.
Can this page change my nameservers?+
No. DNS changes must be made through your contracted registrar or authoritative DNS provider.
