Statements of work

A statement of work should identify the project goal, deliverables, assumptions, responsibilities, review points, timeline and fees. Work outside that scope requires an agreed change. Discovery may be a separate paid phase when requirements are not yet known.

Access and collaboration

The customer supplies timely decisions, suitable test data and authorized access. Production secrets should be shared only through an agreed secure method. Delays in customer input or third-party approvals can change a project schedule.

Acceptance and handover

The statement of work should describe how deliverables are reviewed, how defects are reported and what documentation or training is included. Source code ownership, third-party licenses and ongoing support must be specified for software projects.

Fees and expenses

Payment milestones, taxes, travel, third-party charges and cancellation terms are set in the accepted statement of work. A proposal or discussion does not start paid work until GICT and the customer agree to it.

Account services are unavailable until the production backend is configured.
