How to Cancel Your InterServer VPS Subscription
Published
InterServer offers a “no hassle” cancellation process directly within the VPS page. In compliance with updated regulations (including California’s “Click to Cancel” laws effective July 1, 2025), we ensure the process is easily accessible, transparent, and free of “dark patterns.”

Option 1: Immediate Cancellation
This option immediately stops the VPS service with a single online verification.
- Where to find it: Look for the “Links” toolbar on your VPS dashboard.
- What to do: Click the “Cancel VPS” button (icon with an ‘X’).
Mistake? If you click this by accident, your data is still available for a short time. Please reach out to Live Chat support immediately to reactivate the service.
Option 2: Cancel on Next Renewal
If you want to keep your server running until the end of your current billing cycle, do not use the immediate button above.
Instead, use the ticket system to request that the service be cancelled on a specific date or on your renewal day.
