Steps to Install Softaculous in cPanel

This tutorial will help you install Softaculous  in cPanel server.

Softaculous is an auto installer for control panels such as cPanel and DirectAdmin. Softaculous is much faster and well designed for installing all scripts in just one step. It consists of a wide variety of applications such as e-commerce solutions, blogs, forums, and content management systems. Softaculous also includes an easy to use backup feature which allows anytime backup installation. Applications that are installed with Softaculous can be easily uninstalled.

 

Softaculous Licenses

Softaculous is available as a free to premium auto installer. the premium auto installer is available for low price. Free license Softaculous includes 55 scripts whereas premium includes 410 scripts.

Before starting the installation make sure IonCube Loaders are enabled.

Install Softaculous

1) Download the package

   # wget -N http://files.softaculous.com/install.sh

2) # chmod 755 install.sh

3) # ./install.sh

 

To check installation

1) Go to your WHM interface.

2) Click on the option ‘Plugins’.

 

3) Click ‘Softaculous – Instant Installs’.

 

4) The following webpage will open if the installation was successful.
