Install ClamAV Plugin from WHM
ClamAV is one of the popular anti-virus scanners which is an open source (GPL) antivirus engine designed for detecting Trojans, viruses, malware and other malicious threats. It is one of the plugins available for cPanel servers. ClamAV allows individual cPanel users to scan their home directory and emails.
1) Login to WHM.
2) Navigate to the cPanel menu by clicking on the option “cPanel” in the WHM.
3) Click on the option “Manage Plugins” to manage the plugins for the cPanel accounts.
4) You can see available plugins in this menu. You can install the ClamAV by clicking on the option available with the corresponding plugin. You can also uninstall the plugins using the same option.
The installation will take some time to complete. The log entry will generate along the process and displayed. When the plugin is successfully installed you’ll see a successful message about the installation.
