Create Gift Vouchers in OpenCart

Gift vouchers are something that customers or potential customers love. Amazon also allows us to send gift cards to someone else on the occasion like a birthday. Fortunately, if you are using OpenCart to manage your eCommerce store, you can create and manage gift vouchers for individuals based on E-mail for a specific amount.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create and manage gift vouchers in OpenCart. Follow the screenshots to follow the tutorials visually. We have highlighted important parts of the page like buttons and options.

Create Gift Vouchers in OpenCart

First of all, log in to the admin panel of your OpenCart store. Then, click on the Sales -> Gift Vouchers -> Gift Vouchers option given on the left sidebar of the admin panel.

On this page, you will see a list of available gift vouchers in your store. To send the specific gift voucher, just select the gift vouchers you want to E-mail from the first column from left and click on the Send button given beside the Add button.

To create a new voucher, click on the Create button given on the top-right corner of the page. The button does not have label, so refer to the following screenshot to find the create button.

On this page, you will find a form to enter information about a gift voucher. You can also select a theme for your gift voucher from the Theme drop-down menu.

After filling up the form, click on the Save button given at the top-right corner of the page. Just like the add button, the Save button does not have a label, see the screenshot to find the button.
