How to Add an Affiliate in OpenCart?

Affiliate marketing is a huge market that allows tens of thousands of people to earn money from the internet. You can do affiliate marketing for any kind of product to earn commissions on sales. What you need is the talent to sell products on the internet. On the other side, if you are an eCommerce store owner or you sell your products on the internet, you can get affiliate marketers to promote your product in return for commissions.

If you are using OpenCart to run your eCommerce store, you can easily add new affiliates to your store. They can earn money by selling the products you sell in your store. It is a win-win for both the affiliate and the seller. It is pretty easy to add a new affiliate from the admin panel of the OpenCart. In this tutorial, I am going to show you the same.

Add an Affiliate in OpenCart

To create a new affiliate account, log in to the admin panel of your OpenCart store. From the left sidebar, click on the Marketing option just like the following image. It is a drop-down menu containing more options.

From the sub-menu, click on the Affiliates option to navigate to the affiliate management section.

On this page, you will get a list of affiliates. You can also filter the list of affiliates as per your choice. To create a new affiliate account, click on the “+” button given on the top-right corner of the page.

In this form, Enter the required information about your new affiliate. The form contains common fields like First name, Email, Tracking code and much more. You can also customize the tracking code if you want.

After entering all the required information, click on the Save button given on the top-right corner of the page.
