How to Add PTR Record
Published
You may refer the following video tutorial to setup PTR record with InterServer or read further.
In this tutorial, we can check how to add a PTR record. PTR is also known as Reverse DNS. IP address to domain name mapping is the opposite of forward (normal) DNS which maps domain names to IP addresses. Reverse DNS differs from forward DNS by who points the zone to your DNS server. With forward DNS, you point the zone to your DNS server by registering that domain name with a registrar. With reverse DNS, your Internet connection provider (ISP) must point the zone to your DNS server.
