BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP)

InterServer — proudly supports BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP) for both dedicated servers and colocation customers, at no additional cost. This service allows customers to announce and use their own IP address space within our network.
Getting Started with BYOIP
To initiate the BYOIP process, follow these simple steps:

Submit a ticket
You can also open a ticket from inside https://my.interserver.net with the details. -
Add ROA and RPKI Entry
Adding a valid ROA entry with a provider such as RADB, ARIN or RIPE will allow our upstreams to automatically allow Interserver to start announcing your IP space. Use ASN 19318 for the NYC location and ASN 26666 for Los Angeles and Dallas. -
Prefix Announcement Timeline
Once we receive the completed form or ticket, the announcement process typically takes 24 hours to complete.
IP Assignment Options

We can assign the IP block to a single server or multiple servers as needed.

InterServer can assist in splitting the prefix, but we recommend that customers clearly specify how they want the IPs allocated during the request process.
- Available on dedicated servers and colocation. BYOIP is not available on VPS or cloud products.

BGP Session Setup
We offer BGP session support for customers who prefer to manage their own routing.

ASN Prepending
If you’d like us to prepend your customer-owned ASN to the advertised prefix, we can accommodate that.
